I've been cruising all the usual NASCAR websites I check when I get on the computer and I see a story on Thats Racin that not only catches my eye but makes me feel bad for the driver. It's about Bobby Hamilton, Jr. and that the NASCAR inspectors had penalized him for an unapproved booster seat. According to driver Mike Bliss, Bobby is a 10 foot ego in a 4 foot body. Not sure if the ego part is right but the 4 foot body is! He is a really short guy. My first thought when I read it was one of horror! I mean, the guy is short but to penalize him for being short! Come on, give the guy a break! But then I clicked on the story (still believing it was true) and saw the picture of the phone book. Again (still believing it was true) I couldn't see how he could use a phone book because it would slide around in the seat. Then I read the story. I was had! The story wasn't true! While I was relieved that it was just NASCAR having a sense of humor I gotta wonder if Bobby is laughing.
